To celebrate Jang Dong Yoon's 5th Debut Anniversary, let's do something good for the environment! Jang Dong Yoon fans with the help of lindungihutan.com are planning to join a campaign to plant mangroves in Trimulyo Seashore, Semarang, Central Java Indonesia.

Now, the condition of the seashore is alarming due to the abrasions. Moreover, floods and trashes are filling up the river and the sea. Consequently, the locals are badly affected. Lindungihutan campaign is planning to restore Trimulya Seashore in order to minimize the further effects.

Mangroves are chosen as they can prevent the abrasions and their strong roots can tie up the sediment in order to form a new land. Seeing how important the role of mangrove is, we hope that Jang Dong Yoon is also able to overcome any challenges in his thriving career in the entertainment industry; also, to grow stronger and better as an actor we love the most. Let's love Jang Dong Yoon for long long time!

Trimulyo merupakan daerah hijau di kawasan pesisir yang terletak di Kecamatan Genuk, Semarang, Jawa Tengah. Trimulyo menjadi desa pengaman Pantura dan Kota Semarang dari bencana banjir. Saat ini, kondisi pesisir Trimulyo sangat memprihatinkan karena abrasi yang sangat tinggi. Desa di pesisir Trimulyo sering tergenang air rob dan banyaknya sampah yang masuk memenuhi sungai dan laut, sehingga masyarakat terganggu dengan bau tak sedap dari sampah tersebut. Untuk itu, LindungiHutan melalui kampanye alam akan melakukan penanaman pohon Mangrove Rhizophora sebagai salah satu upaya untuk menanggulangi rob agar tidak semakin meluas. Selain mencegah abrasi, akar mangrove juga memiliki fungsi untuk menjerat sedimen, dan diharapkan akan memunculkan daratan baru kedepannya. Akar Mangrove juga dapat mempercepat penguraian limbah organik dan limbah kimia yang dapat mencemari laut.
