To celebrate my 28th birthday, I'd like to ask my friends to join me in making our contribution to mother earth by planting Trembesi trees (Rain Tree/Latin name: Samanea) around Gunung Salak Endah, Bogor, Jawa Barat, together with the LindungiHutan platform. For years, one of my biggest anxiety is to witness and experience the direct impact of environmental damage such as floods and poor air quality caused by deforestation and resource exploitation around absorption areas such as Bogor. Many parts of Gunung Salak Endah have been cleared for tourism facilities and illegal mining activities. In fact, this area plays an important role in the well-being of human life and the environment. Therefore, LindungiHutan through the environment conservation campaign will plant Trembesi trees to support reforestation, improve air quality, and absorb groundwater supplies. According to research, the Trembesi tree is capable of storing water and helps maintain soil fertility. The tree also has a high CO2 absorption level. The tree’s canopy has a diameter of 15 meters, and one Trembesi tree is capable of absorbing 28.5 tons of CO2 annually.

Kawasan wisata Gunung Salak Endah terdiri dari Curug Cigamea, Curug Ngumpet, Air Panas Lokapurna, Curug Seribu dan Kawah Ratu yang dikelola oleh Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun Salak (TNGHS).
