Kolaborasi antara PT Citilink Indonesia dan LindungiHutan
PT Citilink Indonesia is a subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia which based on the Natakusumah Notarial Deed No. 01 dated January 6th, 2009 in Sidoarjo, East Java. The deed of establishment was approved by Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkunham) under approval letter No. AHU-14555.AH.01.01 year 2009 dated April 22nd, 2009. Citilink Indonesia's shareholder at the time of its establishment was 67% PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. ("Garuda") and 33% PT Aerowisata ("Aerowisata"). Since May 2011, Citilink Indonesia’s flight was managed by Garuda Indonesia’s Strategic Business Unit (SBU) which operated under Garuda’s AOC and using Garuda flight number.
Together with LindungiHutan and Citilink Indonesia, initiated the "Citilink #1000PohonuntukIndonesia" nature campaign. Mangrove tree planting was carried out in the Untia Coastal area which is located in Bringkanaya District, Makassar City, South Sulawesi. The area is very vulnerable to being exploited into fishponds and firewood production sites. This causes widespread abrasion with a prediction of 122 cm of sea water rising in 2100. The storage capacity of groundwater is also threatened due to this condition. Citilink Indonesia's collaboration with LindungiHutan is one of the steps to participate in improving the environment and protecting natural ecosystems.
